You can use these contact details for privacy questions and requests concerning your personal data. Further company information is available in our Imprint.

Visiting the website

The website is published and delivered through Lovable. Requests for pages and files expose technical information to the hosting infrastructure, including your IP address, the requested URL, the time of the request, browser information and, where your browser supplies it, the referring page. Operational and error information may also be processed to keep the website available and investigate faults or misuse.

The purpose is to deliver and protect the website. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR: our legitimate interest in a reliable and secure online service.

Lovable explains its processing in its Privacy Policy, Data Processing Agreement and subprocessor information.

Website measurement and browser storage

Lovable visitor analytics and our VibeTrack integration are disabled on this website. The website does not load our Meta Pixel or Google Ads conversion tracking.

The Contact form does not save your answers as a draft in cookies or browser storage. Digistore24's order form has its own cookies and privacy information, described below. You can use your browser settings to review or remove stored cookies; removing a cookie does not by itself prevent a service from setting it again on a later visit.

Fonts

The website uses IBM Plex Sans font files delivered with the website. Loading these fonts does not make a separate request to Google Fonts or another font provider.

Contacting us

If you use the Contact form, we process your name, role, email address, phone number, company name and website, company size, numbers of internal and external developers, selected AI tools, development challenges and goals. You may also provide your LinkedIn profile, industry and additional notes. Required fields are marked in the form. They are needed to submit a request through that form; you can also contact us by email or phone.

We use these details to understand your enquiry, prepare a relevant response and contact you. Your submission is stored in our Software Factory Guy enquiry system using Supabase. Notifications containing the submitted information are processed through Lovable's email delivery service so Chris can follow up. The email providers involved also process the messages they transmit or store.

If you contact us by email or phone, we process the contact details and information you give us to handle the conversation and any follow-up.

Where an enquiry concerns entering into or performing a contract with you, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. For other enquiries, including correspondence on behalf of a company, it is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR: our legitimate interest in answering relevant business enquiries. Sending the form is a request for contact, not a confirmed appointment.

Information about Supabase is available in its Privacy Policy and Data Processing Addendum.

Book checkout through Digistore24

Opening our checkout page loads the Digistore24 order form. This connects your browser to Digistore24 before you submit an order. Digistore24 receives the technical information needed to display and operate its form. If you enter an order, it also processes the customer, billing, delivery and payment information requested there.

The Digistore24 entity identified in the order form is responsible for its own checkout and transaction processing. Please use the privacy notice and any cookie choices linked within that order form for the entity handling your purchase.

GitFlash’s processing to deliver this page is described under ‘Visiting the website’. Digistore24 explains the legal bases for its own processing in the privacy information linked within its order form. Where Digistore24 provides us with order or contact information, we use what is necessary for order-related communication and administration. When necessary to perform a contract between you and GitFlash, this processing relies on Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. For other order-related administration and enquiries, including purchases from Digistore24 or correspondence on behalf of a company, it relies on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR: our legitimate interest in supporting buyers and administering book orders. Processing required for legal recordkeeping is based on Article 6(1)(c) GDPR. Payment information is entered in Digistore24’s form; it is not requested by our Contact form.

For this book checkout, we have disabled the automatic addition of order and contact details to the return URL. The return page does not use URL parameters to verify a payment or display personal order details.

YouTube and other external links

Our video recommendations use images delivered with this website and links that open YouTube. No YouTube video player is embedded in these pages. Following a YouTube link takes you to Google's service, where its own processing applies. See Google's Privacy Policy.

The same principle applies when you follow other external links: the destination website receives your request and handles it under its own privacy information.

Recipients and international processing

Depending on the activity, data is processed by our hosting infrastructure, Supabase, the email services used for enquiries and Digistore24 for checkout. GitFlash uses the information for the purposes described in this notice. Contact-form notifications are addressed to Chris Strobl. Data may also have to be disclosed where a legal obligation requires it.

These providers operate internationally, so processing may take place outside the European Economic Area. Lovable and Supabase publish data-processing terms describing transfer safeguards, including EU Standard Contractual Clauses where applicable. Digistore24 describes its international processing in its own privacy notice. You can contact us for information about the safeguards applicable to your data and how to obtain a copy.

How long data is kept

Retention depends on why the data is needed. Enquiry and correspondence records are kept for handling the matter and any resulting business relationship. Records needed to meet commercial or tax obligations, or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims, are retained for the applicable obligation or claim period. Operational records are retained according to their delivery, diagnostic and security purpose and the relevant provider arrangements.

Data that is no longer needed for these purposes is deleted or anonymised. Digistore24's own retention rules are set out in its privacy notice. You can ask us about the records relating to you or request their deletion using the contact details above.

Your rights

Subject to the conditions in the GDPR, you can request access to your personal data, correction of inaccurate data, deletion, restriction of processing and a portable copy of data you provided where the portability requirements apply (Articles 15–18 and 20 GDPR).

Right to object: You may object, for reasons relating to your particular situation, to processing based on our legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Where personal data is used for direct marketing, you may object to that use at any time (Article 21 GDPR).

Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent for the future without affecting processing that was lawful before withdrawal. Send your request to support@gitflash.com.

You may also complain to a data protection supervisory authority, including the authority where you live or work. For private-sector organisations at our registered office, the relevant authority is the Bayerisches Landesamt für Datenschutzaufsicht (BayLDA), Promenade 18, 91522 Ansbach, Germany. Its contact and complaint information is available online.

Updates to this notice

We update this notice when the website's processing changes. The date above identifies this version.
